Terms & Conditions

We always aim to dispatch your order within 7 working days, but please allow 14 days for delivery within the UK. However as all of our products are fresh and made to order in some instances this may take a little longer, but we will dispatch your order as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to change an ingredient due to seasonal availability.

Because all our products are natural and we do not use artificial chemicals to extend the shelf life, our shelf lives are shorter than artificial products and you may have to take a little more care of storing the products.

Carriage & Delivery:

  • Orders up to £80.00 UK Mainland only: £3.95
  • Orders to Europe: £7.95
  • Surface Mail to USA and Rest of World: Price on request
  • Air Mail to USA and Rest of World: Price on request

Deliveries will be made by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or our chosen courier.

If we can not deliver your goods within 30 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and receive a refund. Whilst we make every effort to secure our packaging, we cannot be held responsible for any damage or delay to our products in transit. If we accidentally despatch an incorrect item, please return the goods to Serenity of Harrogate, if possible re-using the packaging in which the order arrived and enclosing a copy of your invoice. We will offer a full refund, or exchange and reimburse your postage.

Please note by trading with Serenity of Harrogate, your statutory rights are not affected.

Cancellation & Refunds

Legal compliance
This returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses are not governed by these regulations.

Your rights as a consumer
In accordance with the law, you have a 7 day 'cooling off period' in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. If you paid by credit or debit card from this website, your refund will be made directly to your credit or debit card within 30 days of your cancellation. If you paid by any other means, your refund will be made by cheque which will be posted to you within 30 days of your cancellation. There will be no charges for cancellation within this 7 day cooling off period.

How to cancel within the 7 day cooling off period
Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 7 days 'cooling off' period, please email us at sales@serenityofharrogate.co.uk or write to us at the address detailed below. Please tell us your name and address. If your order was made from this website, please tell us the transaction ID. If your order was made by post, please say so.

Returns

Returning unwanted goods
Unwanted goods should be returned within 7 days of delivery. You should post them, unopened and undamaged, to:

We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt.

Refunds for unwanted goods will only be made where the goods are returned unused, unopened and in re-saleable condition. Unwanted goods must be returned to us within 7 days of delivery, and you will have to pay the cost of returning the goods. Serenity of Harrogate cannot accept back goods that have been opened or tampered with.

Refunds will be credited to the card user within 30 days of cancellation.

Damaged / Faulty Goods on Receipt

If goods are damaged or faulty on receipt, please keep the goods together with the packaging and contact us immediately for guidance. Please note this guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights.

Payment

We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, and JCB.

We will acknowledge it within 5 working days and will provide you with a likely timescale for resolving the dispute. We will endeavour to resolve your complaint in a fair, confidential and effective manner while keeping you informed about the progress of your complaint.
